Care for your prefinished products
Before you clean anything, find the exact product and finish. Care can vary even when two products look alike.
Find the product label
Note the brand, product name, material, and finish. A photo of the label is useful if you need to call.
Read the supplied instructions
Follow the manufacturer’s directions for cleaners, tools, and finishes. Do not assume one method is safe for every product.
Ask before trying something new
If the instructions are missing or unclear, call before using a cleaner or treatment you have not used on that product.
