Factory-direct countertop pieces for builders
We import prefinished countertop pieces directly from the factories that cut them, and quote each commercial order per piece, by color, quantity, and destination.

The container program
For projects of roughly 40 units and up, we ship factory-direct: your material loads at the factory, clears customs under our bond, and delivers straight to your jobsite or our warehouse, your choice.
- Spec and quote. Pick colors and quantities (the estimator below lists the program colors); we quote per piece, in writing.
- 50% deposit locks it. Your deposit places the factory order and freezes your pricing; your quote gives the delivery timeline.
- Delivery. Your container ships to your jobsite or to our warehouse, your choice. You pay the balance before the carrier releases it at destination, or before pickup from our warehouse, and you inspect at unloading or pickup.
What the math looks like
A typical apartment unit takes about three prefinished pieces (kitchen run, island or bar, vanity). As a planning range, one container carries about 135 to 165 pieces, or 45 to 55 units of material; what fits depends on piece widths, lengths, and packing. Final pricing depends on colors, sizes, and destination. Every quote is itemized per piece so you can check the math.
Estimate your project
Pick a program color, a piece width, your unit count, and pieces per unit. Estimates use each color’s regular price per piece, as listed in Inventory when it is not on sale, at the one width you pick for every piece. A sale price is not applied. Your written quote sets the final price.
Commercial and factory-direct orders
Quote: every commercial order is placed on a written quote, itemized per piece, and accepted in writing, including online acceptance with your typed name and email.
Deposit: a 50% deposit is due when you accept the quote. It places the factory order and locks your pricing.
Cancelling: before the factory order is placed, we refund your deposit in full. After it’s placed, we refund the deposit less the costs we’ve committed to the factory and carrier for your order.
Changes: colors or quantities can change only before the factory order is placed, by a revised written quote.
Lead time: usually 90 to 130 days from deposit for factory-direct orders, depending on the factory; your quote gives your estimate. In-stock material is available right away.
Shipment: factory-direct orders ship to your jobsite or to our warehouse, your choice, to mainland U.S. destinations our carrier serves; your quote confirms yours. You arrange unloading at the jobsite. KEMM Stone LLC is the importer of record and clears the shipment through customs.
Balance: due in full before the carrier releases the shipment at destination, or before pickup from our warehouse. We invoice the balance when the shipment arrives.
Taking delivery: take delivery within 10 days of the shipment’s arrival. Detention or storage after 10 days is passed through at documented cost.
Duties and tariffs: if duties or tariffs change between order and landing, the documented change passes through at cost, up or down.
Inspection and damage: inspect at unloading or pickup and note damage on the delivery receipt. Report concealed damage to us in writing within 48 hours of opening. Freight damage claims are made against the carrier, and we work the claim with you. Title and risk of loss pass to you at carrier release.
Returns: factory-direct orders are not returnable. Stocked material on a commercial order may be returned within 30 days in saleable condition, less a 15% restocking charge.
